The Nest is a boutique toddler development program for children ages 12–29 months designed to support language, movement, social-emotional growth, and emerging independence during one of the most important periods of child development.
With intentionally small cohorts and responsive caregivers, children are provided with meaningful opportunities to explore, communicate, build confidence, and develop foundational skills through hands-on experiences and nurturing relationships.

During your visit, you'll tour the space, learn about our Montessori-inspired approach, whole - child curriculum, meet the team, and have an opportunity to ask questions about our curriculum, enrollment, tuition, and program expectations.
Why The First Two Years Matter
The first years of life lay the foundation for future learning, communication, relationships, and emotional well-being.
At The Nest, we intentionally create experiences that support the rapid growth occurring during this stage of development. Through responsive interactions, sensory exploration, movement, music, practical life experiences, and guided social opportunities, children are encouraged to develop confidence in themselves and the world around them.

Our cohort sizes are intentionally limited to ensure every child receives individualized attention, meaningful interaction, and responsive support throughout the day.

Language development is woven into every experience. Through songs, stories, conversation, slowed verbal modeling, intentional language modeling, and responsive communication, children are immersed in an environment designed to support emerging language skills.

The Nest is more than a playgroup. Our program follows a structured, developmentally informed curriculum specifically designed for toddlers ages 12–29 months. Each week includes intentional learning experiences that target key areas of early development, including communication, social-emotional growth, cognitive skills, motor development, sensory processing, and emerging independence. The curriculum plan is emailed before Monday each week.
Every activity, routine, and interaction is planned with clear developmental goals in mind. Through guided experiences, language-rich interactions, sensory exploration, movement, music, and social engagement, children build foundational skills that support future learning and success.
While play remains the primary way toddlers learn, our curriculum ensures that learning opportunities are purposeful, progressive, and aligned with the developmental milestones most important during the first two years of life.

Children are encouraged to participate in age-appropriate self-help routines, practical life experiences, and decision-making opportunities that build confidence and autonomy.

We work closely with families to support developmental growth both at school and at home through ongoing communication, collaborative guidance, monthly developmental reports, and individualized whole-child development plans that evolve as children reach new milestones. Parents in all of our programs also receive daily report sheets.

🧠 BCBA-Informed Developmental Profiles
Families enrolled in The Nest receive monthly developmental observation profiles designed to help guide individualized learning experiences and classroom support strategies.
These observations may include:

emotional regulation
adaptive/self-help skills
fine and gross motor observations
Our goal is not to pathologize development, but to thoughtfully understand each child as an individual learner so we can better support their growth, confidence, and emerging independence and tailor lesson delivery

Limited Enrollment
To preserve the integrity of our program and maintain individualized attention, enrollment is intentionally limited to five toddlers per cohort.
Once a cohort reaches capacity, families will be placed on a waitlist.
